Installation Technician

Job Description

     We are looking for an applicant with a practical knowledge of tools, machinery and rigging who is trainable and reliable to install commercial laundry equipment across the PA, NJ & DE territory.  Our installation team is trained in-house and will also receive factory training and certification to work on our machinery. Job Specific Responsibilities

• Deliver and Install commercial laundry equipment, card systems, change machines and any other ancillary items relevant to Self-Service and OPL laundry customers within our territory.
• Survey specifications and requirements for new equipment installations.
• Drive a delivery truck.  No CDL required.
• Use of basic hand tools and small to medium scale rigging tools.
• Complete basic plumbing and mechanical connections to equipment.
• Maintain a parts and materials inventory on a provided installation vehicle.
• Clean and Test equipment following installations.
• Attend training courses as required.
• Attend all company sponsored events.

Mandatory Requirements for Applicants

• Valid Driver’s License
• Ability to pass a drug screening
• Ability to meet the physical daily requirements of this position including lifting, pushing and/or otherwise moving a minimum of 50lbs.
• Positive Attitude and a willingness to learn.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop vended and OPL laundry sales with our territory.
• Visit and survey a minimum of 10 (ten) coin or OPL laundries per day
• Develop a customer list and maintain information on existing coin and OPL laundries
• Work with multi-store owners and independent service techs to gain knowledge of the primary customers within the territory.
• Promote and market all open house/sales events.
• Telemarketing department at A C Power Company will call specific area codes to generate leads.
• Valid Drivers License required.
